What it all means…

The balance of the Full Moon in Aries, Mercury retrograde in Libra through the 16th, the Sun in Libra for most of the month and Venus and Mars in Scorpio (through the 19th) this all suggests October is going to be a fiery, passionate, relationship motivated month.

The Aries Full Moon on the 14th is going to be quite the ‘day’. We can expect fireworks and cosmic blow ups – but the positive aspect is that we are going to see things get sorted out, worked through, fought out and hopefully resolved. Aries approach things head on with no shenanigans or beating around the bush, and this lunar activity is going to be pretty much the same, especially considering Mercury is out of phase in Libra, the sign of relationships and the opposite sign to Aries.

Misunderstandings leading to all out ‘war’ is highly likely early in the month, with Mercury retrograde doing his finest work alongside the energy of the Aries Full Moon. Pluto, the planet of upheaval spends his last full month in Sagittarius, the sign of learning – so the elections in the US will get even more heated and there could be all sorts of unexpected happenings and titillating rumours abounding.

Barack Obama is a Leo, married to Michelle, a Capricorn. VP pick Joe Biden is a Scorpio, while Republican John McCain is a Virgo and his VP pick Sarah Palin is an Aquarius. So all four elements represented here in this race which is always a good thing. October of course is the month when we will see how the candidates are doing and what is going to happen November 4. Usually the scandals break right before polling day, and with so much emphasis on relationships, it will largely depend on how everyone gets along. (Or at least who looks like they’re getting along the best).

The big news entertainment wise in October is the ongoing comeback of Sagittarius Britney Spears – who wowed the crowd at the MTV Music Awards early September and continues to work on her new album which is coming out soon (and is supposed to be fantastic). Everyone is cheering for her here in the USA that’s for sure and now that she’s rid herself of Sam Lupti and Adnan and all the other leeches, she can just get to know herself all over again.

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius and the planet of good luck and opportunity moved direct in Capricorn September 9, perfectly in tune and in time for Britney’s comeback/revitalization. I guess she never ever went anywhere to come back from, but she certainly fell down a big hole and has slowly but surely dug her way out of said hole. Everyone loves a story of someone who’s down and out and manages to paw their way back. Look at English ‘comedian’ Russell Brand – a Gemini who hosted the MTV Awards this year. He was way OTT – crude, rude and vulgar, but yet they have asked him back to host again next year! He has quite the story – a sex addiction problem and a heroine addiction problem – and is dating Teresa Palmer – Aussie young actress and a Pisces. Not a good match up at all – but then again, who would be a good match for him? One of the Olsen twins perhaps? Or maybe both? They’re both Geminis and both sound like they could handle Russell Brand. A big cosmic LOL.

Taurus Uma Thurman is sporting a big sparkling ring from her beau Arkpad Busson. She was seen admiring it all over Fashion Week in New York and while out and about. Wonder what Aries ex Elle McPherson thinks about Arkpad marrying Uma? Speaking of Aries, Mariah Carey is still married! To young Libra Nick Cannon! And they said it wouldn’t last. Much like Libra Ashlee Simpson and her hubby Pete Wentz – a Gemini and purrfect match for Ashlee (who is about to give birth any day…so it will be a Virgo or a Libra).

Librans are all having babies – Naomi Watts is pregnant again. Gwen just had another boy. Usher’s wife is expecting their second child. Matt Damon just had another girl with his wife (obviously). There’s a real baby boom going on in Hollywood – one wonders if it has anything to do with the recession/fertility drugs or just one huge coincidence? Probably a mix of all three really…

One major theme of October is going to be Mercury retrograde in Libra. The planet of communication and clear thinking out of phase in the sign that resonates with balance and harmony is not going to be good. And with a Full Moon in dramatic Aries on the 14th, mark that day down in your calendar. Cosmic fireworks for sure! Mars, the planet of passion and jealousy in possessive Scorpio most of the month is also sure to keep things interesting. Scorpion Matthew McConaughey and his Aquarian ladylove Camilla ALves are proud parents but very much at odds astrologically. Will this union and many others make it past Mercury retrograde and a Full Moon in Aries? October will put many relationships under the cosmic spotlight. Like Sagittarius Nicollette Sheridan and Pisces Michael Bolton who quietly ended their engagement early September. Bad match up – and tried to make it work not once but twice!

Aquarius Mischa Barton is single again – and apparently she is not alone – in that other young Hollywood starlets are suddenly single – there will be more in October that’s for sure. Cancer Lindsday Lohan and galpal Leo Samantha Ronson are still together and happy as Larry as far as we can see. It certainly seems to be the sanest relationship Lindsay has ever had. And she looks good and for a Cancer, that is very much the sign that she is happy. Keep in mind that like Britney, Lindsay fell down a very slippery slope a while back and has been quietly making her way back. Welcome back girls!!!
