Uses of Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy provides us
with an ancient way of healing that incorporates the use of
pure oils , extracted from various plants, trees, herbs and
fruits.
Aromatherapy is used for
several interrelated practices, these are;
- Massage with pure oils
- bathing, inhalants and steaming
- uses of herbs in cooking, teas and
infusions
Massaging with essential
oils is a very powerful combination of nurturing and relaxing
sensation of touch with the divine smell of pure medicinal
oils.
Massage loosens tight
muscles, blocked tissue and increases the flow of blood within
the body, when the skin warms, the oils penetrates the pours
of the skin.
These oils then seep
into the blood system and cells within the body, and depending
on the oils used, will calm or stimulate the individual being
massaged.
Essential oils are a powerful
natural therapy and different oils are selected for various
healing properties that create positive reaction physically
and mentally.
Massage with pure oils are two powerful techniques that induce
new life to the body which means not only do you feel good
but actually helps you look younger.
An aromotherapy bath with
essential oils added to the water , stimulate relax and energise
those who chose to spoil themselves, and depending on the
oils chosen will prove to be therapeutic and or medicinal
leaving a sweet fragrance on the skin.
Oils used for inhalants
will clear blocked sinuses and congested chests, and will
also promote good health and balance to body and mind.
Various oils that are
used for facial steams, and will deep cleanse the skin, moisturising
and rejuvenating the cells giving you a more healthy youthful
glow.
nfusions and teas that
incorporate the use of herbs and oils for medicinal and relaxing
purposes promote good health and well being.
We recommend you ensure that care is taken , as the use of
wrong oils and herbs can be harmful.
Another interesting practice
with these wonderful pure oils is the ability to enhance one’s
sensuality and confidence.
Most of us remain aware
that it is a fact that our sense of smell influences our feelings
and passions.
We may be attracted or
put off by the smell of another, and be quite unaware that
they have any body fragrance at all.
Animals attract their
mates by their own various odours , and it is believed that
although we think we are attracted to our mates by their looks
or attitudes, the fact is the smell they generate is what
draws our attention.
Perfume and cologne manufactures
are quite aware of how fragrance affect our senses, and so
sensual fragrances are created in the hope that they become
popular and sort after.
Essential oils being pure
and potent can and will achieve results, when mixed in combination
of various oils may help promote sensual capabilities as well
as highten attraction and confidence.
So the uses of aromatherapy
are widely varied and can be used for many different therapies,
to enhance health, wellbeing and beauty whilst enjoying many
different fragrances and scents.
