Rawlings. The book followed after “Beyond Death’s Door” and “To Hell and Back”. This latest book is published through Christian self-publisher Xulon Press.

Rawlings is a Chattanooga-based cardiologist who was also resuscitated after a heart attack. He used to be an agnostic and a cynic. However, this belief changed after he applied CPR on a patient who was screaming that he was in hell. Subsequently, the doctor saw the transforming power of Jesus on the man.

After the incident, Rawlings began his research on near-death experiences and he, himself, became a Christian.

Rawlings tries to study and provide answers to the question, “what happens to us when we die?” In this latest book, he describes his experiences resuscitating patients, teaching resuscitation to medical students locally and abroad, and the destinations that resuscitated patients went to while they were considered clinically dead.

The writings and descriptions of Rawlings in this book are thought-provoking and fascinating. These will surely give answers to our questions as we wonder what awaits us in the next life. It is expected to change our lives.
