Casting Lots With More Information on Blue
Casting Lots is now providing more information with regards its blue section. Casting Lots visitors are now able to see at what the blue section of casting lots has in store for them.
For those who can’t find dice with the colors that they are looking for, they just have to shade in the dots with a marker pen to help them establish the colors. This works just as well as the whole color in each dice. This system is a sure way of finding which direction you need to take in life as this system dates back to biblical days.
In each issue, Casting Lots will add a new color to their page, until their visitors can do their own reading using all the colors.
Dr. Katz’s What If? A New Year’s Public Health Reverie
Dr. David Katz, M.D, Director, Yale Prevention Research Center, has just recently posted his “What If? A New Year’s Public Health Reverie” on the web.
The post is about his musings on what if he would do if he were the philosopher-king of public health in 2012.
Dr. Katz pondered on a lot of varying topics, from democracy, philosophical thoughts on health and health promotion and its tools and programs, as well as people’s empowerment with regards its responsibilities and resources.
Dr. Katz mused that if he were the public health philosopher-king, it would be his job to empower the people with regards to health, health-promoting tools and programs, and its good usage of such resources. He would call on the eradication of tobacco use and make everyone a nutrition expert by putting an objective, evidence-based, and at-a-glance measure of overall nutritional quality on display everywhere people and food come together; thus, close every loophole to marketing distortions.
He would also make physical activity readily accessible and make it a routine part of everyone’s day. He would also make sure that every school will teach the children and their parents the skills required to identify and choose more nutritious food.
Dr. Katz mad a lot of musings, which is all about health and health promotions.
