The Daydream – It usually takes place while we are awake. Most people are estimated to spend between 70 and 120 minutes each day engaged in daydreaming. It is thought to be a level of consciousness below that of a normal waking state above that of sleep.
The Lucid Dream – It takes place when the dreamer realizes that he or she is dreaming while still their deep dreams. It happens in that moment when you tell yourself ‘This is only a dream’. The Nightmare – These are the dreams that often trouble, frighten and disturb us. People who often suffer nightmare are those young children who were brought on by fears of monsters in their closets and under the bed. Of course, some adults also suffer nightmares due to real life trauma while some suffer due to real life problems such as psychiatric problems.
The Recurring Dream – It is a dream that repeats itself with minor variations or even none at all. It can be about any subject and they focus on that subject night after night. These kinds of dreams may be positive and uplifting but there are studies show that the majority of these are negative in nature.
The Healing Dream – It is often seen as sending a message to the dreamer with regards his or health. It often spurs the dreamer to take a long delayed trip to the dentist or doctor.
The Prophetic Dream – It is a dream also known as precognitive dreams which has the ability to use them to foretell the future. The subconscious mind pieces together little of information encountered throughout the day and then put them together in a form that makes sense to the dreamer.
