Located on Whiting Street, the “Crystal’s Spiritual Reader” building is now empty and has lost its signboard outside, making it available for lease.

Because of allegedly scamming a woman, 69 years old from Pembroke, of $7,000, Teresa Nicholas and Tiffany Crystal Smith have been arrested. Since that woman moved forward with a case, other victims have revealed themselves as well.

According to police accounts, Smith, who is also called Sofie, told the woman that her daughter has been cursed and that she needed to pay her $16,000 or else her daughter would commit suicide. In addition to that, Smith was said to have dropped her bag during one of her readings and then red liquid spilled out of it. She claimed that it represented the blood of her daughter.

The poor woman from Pembroke actually believed her bluff and sadly gave an antique opal ring which costs $500 to the fake psychic. Additionally, she also gave two checks amounting to $7,385. And since she was still $9,000 short of the total amount, Smith pushed the woman to borrow from her relatives, sell her properties, or bring a credit card to her.

Now that the building is empty and the two previous occupants are in jail, anyone interested can already rent or lease that said place. It is just hoped that the kind of fake business the two psychics had will no longer be repeated. It is a wonder now if those two psychics ever thought that this kind of thing will befall them for their false acts.
