On New Year’s Day, Travis M. Lecatsas lost control of his car and crashed. He was driving his Mitsubishi Eclipse was on Route 11 in Point Township in Riverside, PA when the accident occurred. The 22-year-old died 15 days later without regaining consciousness.
His parents Stan and Ginny Lecatsas are in desperate need of answers. The couple are considering hiring a psychic to find out the circumstances behind their youngest son’s death.
According to police reports, their son had been racing another vehicle at the time of the crash. Witness reports says that an unidentified driver in a black Pontiac Grand Prix returned to the crash site and drove off without stopping.
His parents are not convinced that this was the cause of the accident. Travis had only recently gotten his license back after having it suspended for speeding violation. They believe their son was driven off the road. They have asked the police to investigate on this angle, but the case has been closed.
“He would not have jeopardized his license by drag racing,” insists Ginny.
Although he has had run-ins with the law, Travis was on his way to getting his life back on track. He has been attending meetings in the Northumberland County Court program.
“Because Travis had changed his life and found a purpose to live, he needs to be vindicated,” said his mother. “We’ll never rest until we know what happened. Right now, I’m a lost soul,” added Stan.
The Lecatsases have already hired a private investigator to look into the case. Now, they are also considering the help of a psychic to find out what really happened.
