CA – For twenty-five years, Leslie Schirmacher has been bartending at the Queen Mary, which is a retired ocean liner that has been turned into a hotel in Long Beach, California. The Queen Mary is already known for having been considered as one of the most haunted places in America. However, Schirmacher did not start palling around by apparitions until a costumer pointed out one to her.
An old woman customer asked Schirmacher if she ever had any experience with ghosts. Schirmacher, however, said ‘No.’ The old woman insists that she can see dead people and she saw one right there beside Schirmacher. Upon hearing what the old woman said, Schirmacher leaned over and kissed the ghost on the cheek.
Schirmacher claims that the ghost’s name is Bruce Brandon, who hails from Aberdeen, Scotland. Bruce had long been communicating and hanging out around at her bar, the Starboard Lounge. Schirmacher, however, played a little hard to get at times. According to the old woman, Bruce might have thought that Schimacher is a past love of his. In one of Schimacher’s pictures, Bruce Brandon’s face appeared on top of a piano smoking a cigar, looking like Kevin Spacey.
Schirmacher makes no claims of being a paranormal expert. She is only claiming what her eyes perceived. She is convinced that she has her own personal ghosts hanging out with her at the Starboard Lounge. She believes he is there to safeguard her. By the use of a crystal pendulum, she tries to show to the people around that it moves in circles, which means Bruce is present in the room.
According to Erika Frost, a paranormal expert and psychic who has aboard the Queen Mary, ghosts are common on ships, but it is unusual for someone to have one of their own.
