The 35-year-old woman is facing charges for allegedly stealing more than $200,000 from her client after claiming to be a psychic who can help her client rid of a curse that was inherited while the victim was still in the mother’s womb.

According to Orange County Deputy District Attorney Matt Lockhart, the 37-year-old victim from Irvine was walking along West Hollywood when she was confronted by Adams with a flier advertising her psychic business.

Lockhart further said that the victim’s love life was not where she wanted it to be and so Adams declared that she can take away the curse for a fee.

Adams asked the victim to open several credit card accounts to buy jewelry, clothing, electronics, and a Mercedes Benz convertible. When the victim could no longer afford it, she was forced to sell it back to dealership losing $5,000. Adams also directed the victim to buy gold bars worth $30,000 as protective shield. All these happened between June 2008 to August 2009.

Adams was arrested on Friday. She faces 32 counts of felony including second degree commercial burglary. She also faces two felony counts of credit fraud and one felony count of grand theft. She is looking at 30 years of imprisonment.
