A not so good news for people devoted to spirituality. According to Sue Farrow, Larry Taylor, of the London Spiritual Mission has passed away.
Taylor, 81 years old, was the former president of London’s Premier Spiritualist church. He was lying in the hospital and was surrounded by family and friends when he peacefully passed away on October 5.
Taylor was a natural medium. Since childhood he was already a psychic. He was one whose abilities included hearing and seeing things which regular people could not. And when he was not able to handle it, he was admitted to the mental hospital.
He first attempted mediumistic development in 1960 when he visited a friend in England particularly at the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain.
“I sat with Ivy Northage, who said I didn’t need development, I just needed to learn how to control my mediumship, because I was open all the time, which was dangerous. So Ivy taught me the basics of opening up and closing down, particularly how to close down. I think I was there with her for about a year,” said Taylor in his last interview.
In 1972, he was ordained a Spiritualist minister when he returned to the USA.
In general, Taylor was seen by people as a man of integrity and great spirituality. He even said that he trusts the spirits when he does his mediumship and that throughout his practice of spirituality, the spirits have never proven him wrong. And though he had sometimes let him down, the spirits never let him down.
Based on his request, there will be no public funeral for Taylor. But whoever is wishing to pay their last respects to him is invited to donate to the restoration fund at his spiritual home. The address is The London Spirit Mission, 13 Pembridge Place, London W2 4XB.
