As a member of Central Maine Paranormal Investigators, she has asked the group to conduct an investigation. She even took it upon herself to call Town Manager Richard Davis to schedule the investigation for August 22.
During the even, one member of the group will conduct research on the cemetery but will not share with the group what they learned. Macie and other psychics will go to the cemetery grounds to pick up on the spirits messages. The person will then validate the information.
The investigation will also involve the use of recorders, cameras and an infrared camera. These will be used to capture some sounds that may not be audible at the time of the investigation – called the electric voice phenomena – these are heard only when played back. Cameras will also be used for recording paranormal energy like orbs, light rods or even apparitions.
The Central Maine Paranormal Investigators group formed in 2006. It is led by Stacie Farrington the group’s director from Lewiston. The 11-member group met during a ghost hunting class held by the Lewiston Adult Education.
