Known in England as Pam from England or The Dream Catcher, Pam McCagh is a psychic who works alternately in England and Australia, particularly in radio, television, and charity, with the aim of helping people connect with their loved ones.
McCagh was only 28 years old when she attempted to commit suicide and believed that she was able to cross to the other side. After that near-death experience, she realized that her psychic powers were going strong.
Although McCagh really has no experience with book publishing, still, she was able to come up with a book entitled, Sleep Never Comes: for those that did not reach the other side. The book is a compilation of stories from lost souls who never made it to the other side. And she did this only in 9 weeks.
“I was told a long time ago that I would write a book,” said McCagh, “which was so funny as I wouldn’t know where to start.”
She says that when she hears theirs stories, she has to stop everything and listen, as if something very strong is happening.
Some stories in the book include The Whisperer, which is the story of a boy who is trying to save his mother. Waiting for Mummy is also another story in the book that tells about a little girl who is waiting for her mummy to return from a train crash. The Post Box is about a terminally ill woman who still refuses to commit to her fiancé.
McCagh does not force us believe her stories. All she wants is to help those who need her help and provide insights and advice to those who find it hard to connect with their loved ones.
