LA – Marilyn Monroe has died nearly 50 years ago but approves of Michelle Williams to portray as her life in the movie My Week with Marilyn, according to a psychic. While doing the film, a story came out in the National Enquirer about a psychic who had spoken to Marilyn Monroe. Accordingly, Marilyn Monroe approves the 31-year-old Oscar nominee to play the story of her life.
In an interview at the Beverly Hilton Hotel during the Hollywood Film Awards, Michelle Williams got so flattered about the news. She remarked that Marilyn Monroe herself approves of the film because they are doing a good job and are doing great in the filming process. “So maybe she likes it,” she told E! Online.
Indeed, Michelle Williams has great likeness to the classic siren of the silver screen of the 1950’s. Marilyn Monroe died a controversial death at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California, at early dawn of August 5, 1962. Protective fans all over the globe have debated about Michelle Williams’ taking the leading role. Williams could now rest easy and ignore any criticism of her job since, after all, her most important critic – Marilyn Monroe herself, expresses her approval of her from the paranormal dimension.
Williams closely studied Marilyn Monroe’s own speaking style, voice and movements, to come as close as the original. She would even fall asleep to movies of Marilyn Monroe hoping to get an “osmosis-effect.” Whether through research and imagination, Williams have nailed the late Hollywood legend’s signature style.
In a recent interview in Vogue, Marilyn says, “I do remember one moment of being all suited up as Marilyn and walking from my dressing room onto the soundstage practicing my wiggle. There were three or four men gathered around a truck, and I remember seeing that they we’re watching me come and feeling that they we’re me go… I thought, ‘Oh, maybe Marilyn felt that when she walked down the beach.
My Week with Marilyn premieres at the New York Film Festival, and will be released in theaters on November 4, 2011. The story is based on a diary kept by Colin Clark, who worked as an assistant of Monroe while she was filming, “The Prince and the Showgirl” in the United Kingdom in the early summer of 1956.
