With the tip proving wrong and untrue, the owner of the said Texas ranch is suing.

Last June 6, 2011, a psychic named Angel called the police to point a horrific mass massacre on a Texas ranch, describing the place to have rotting corpse and dismembered limbs which included those from small and innocent children.

With this, the deputies from the Liberty County Sheriff’s office rushed to the scene to investigate but found absolutely nothing. However, after a second call came in the following day, they all went back to the site along with dozens of officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, some Texas rangers, cadaver dogs, and helicopters.

At the end of the day, the tip from the psychic had been proven false. But the police would not apologize saying that they only followed procedures and that the claims really warranted a thorough search and investigation in the area. They also added that regardless of the source of the tip, all information have to be clarified and not ignored.

Now the owners of the ranch, Joe Bankson and Gena Charlton, are suing and have actually filed a lawsuit earlier this year.

As to the psychic, she had vanished all of a sudden, making it possible for the owners to sue only the police and some media outlets for defamation and unreasonable search and seizure. It has been noted that the couple are said to have found the psychic who disguised herself as Angel. Her name is actually Presley Gridley and also goes by the name “Rhonda”.
