Winner of the reality-TV series “The One” Charmaine Wilson will be on her Spirit Whispers tour from Saturday. The event will be held at the Hobart’s Theatre Royal and tickets are priced at $53. This is part of her 2009 Australia-wide tour to bring her special gift to audiences.
The popular psychic says her career began in 2002, when she realised the voices she kept hearing were not a sign of madness. This was simply a manifestation of her ability to connect the living with their deceased loved ones.
Her achievements have been recognized by The Australian Psychics Association. In 2005, she was awarded the Australian Psychic of the year. Aside from winning the nationwide search for the most gifted psychics last year, she was also able to publish the book “Spirit Whispers”.
Despite her popularity – and three-year waiting list for private readings – she accepts that there will always be skeptics. “There’s a lot of psychics out there who are not what they say they are. It’s the charlatans that make everybody else look bad,” she said.
“Psychic ability is not an exact science. It’s like getting all the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle randomly and we have to put them in place.”
