Candles for health and well being
In this increasingly busy
society we find that there are more and more people striving
to become healthy and have a general need of well being. We
have noticed the increase in patronage to fitness, health
and even weight lost centres. Many state that our lifestyle
has increased the need to eat on the run, working long hours
and trying to often balance home and work life and all of
these have attributed to the extra physical and mental demands
placed upon our bodies.
With the extra demands
in our lives many are now searching for methods to increase
the levels of health and general well being.
Firstly we need to begin
the process by believing we deserve to achieve all that is
desired. You must be prepared to change old beliefs which
may restrict from obtaining the healthy lifestyle you desire.
In our society people will openly say that they have the desire
to be healthy but negate the statement within the sentence.
Here are some examples:
I want to become fit and healthy but I never have the time
to do it.
or
I gain a kilo just looking
at a cake.
or
I will always be unfit
because it runs in the family.
These and many other sayings
are creating exactly what is being said. If you do not believe
you deserve to change your circumstances it will never happen.
Remember: Thoughts produce action.
The universe does not
place any judgements on individuals. If you desire to be in
a loving relationship or respected by family and friends it
will be created but if you believe you will live a lonely
and unfulfilling life that too will be created.
The following exercise
in Candle Burning will assist you in producing that which
you desire.
Begin by oiling the candle if you desire
and commence visualising your desire for happiness and the
love you want:
Firstly:
- To assist with creating love and
happiness you need to light an pink candle. Pink represents
the colour of love, affection and romance. Burning this
candle can bring love to you, assist you with becoming
more loving and is concerned with all aspects of romance.
- Be sure you are seated comfortably
with no interruptions and clear your mind of any thoughts.
To assist in the process you may wish to use some mediation
techniques and concentrate on breathing slowly and fully
for a few minutes. As you mind becomes clear, focus on
the burning candle and begin to create your desire by
picturing it in your mind. Focus on the important elements
within your desire and say an affirmation that will enhance
this process.
To attract health
and general well being you may wish to say the following affirmations:
- I am now a fit and healthy person
and will rid my body of any toxins and poisons.
- I am looking after my body and love
the way I am and the way I look. (Learning to love and
respect yourself sounds easy but you truly must believe
this)
- I am now accept the person I am
and will create general well being in and around me.
In some instances lack
of good health and well being may be related to your emotions.
Look at what you are feeling and thinking. If you are angry
at something or someone and do not have the opportunity to
release this anger this may manifest into a physical symptom.
Continue to focus on your desire/s and saying your affirmations.
If you find it difficult to remain focussed clear your mind
again of all thoughts and commence your ritual again.
Finally: Continue to focus
on the desire as long as you feel is necessary and the time
required will vary amongst individuals.
