How to start chatting

• To send a message to the room, type your message in the box which is located in the bottom right corner of the page.
• Click on the 'Go' button to submit your message.
• Click on the smiley face to insert smile icons

• Room: Switch between the room available . To change rooms, select a room from the dropdown box. 'Psychic Online Chat' is a moderated room and your messages will be screened. For general chat, use the "Freechat" room. The numbers in the brackets indicated the number of chatters in the room.
• Speak to: "speak to" is used when you are addressing to a single person, in which everybody can see your message. To "speak to" a person select, their name from the drop down list before you send your message.
• Whisper: When the "whisper" box is checked, only the person whom you have selected in the "speak to" drop down box can read your message.
• Output filter: Check these boxes to select what messages you want to dislay in the chat window.
  • Private text only - Display messages from people who "SPEAK TO" you.
  • Friends only - Display messages from people you have identified as 'friends'
  • No system messages - Do not display messages which are generated by the chat program
• Menu Ignore: Here you can ignore chatters.
• Menu Invite: Invite chatters into your private room.
• Menu Friends: You can mark other Chatters as your friends, the system will show you, which friend is currently on/offline.
• Menu Configure: In this area you can change your preferred chat settings, e.g. color etc.
