Infidelity – can you forgive?

Firstly, you need to look at whey the infidelity occurred, and was it you or your partner?
Was it purely promiscuity and a lack of commitment between the two of you, and if so, then maybe you have not made your intention of the relationship clear and maybe there is just not enough connection between you to be faithful, and in this case, the infidelity could be highlight that it is time to move on.

Are you in a committed relationship and things have not been that good lately? If so, and this is a once only occasion of you and your partner straying, then maybe it is worth looking at it a little deeper and making a commitment to each other to work through it and do whatever you can to get past this point, even if it means getting professional help.
