There are many forms of communication. There is verbal, and there is non–verbal communication like body language and facial expressions, and there are actions.

One thing to look for with someone’s communication is that it is congruent. What they say and do needs to be in line. If they say one thing and do another then this can leave you in a state of confusion, wondering what they ’really’ mean. The same goes for someone’s body language and facial expressions. If they say one thing, but clearly their body language is telling another story, then something is not right. You need to delve further and ask questions to get to the bottom of what they really mean.

What someone does not say can also be very telling, sometimes, people can give you a hint with their non–verbal communication, that there is more to a situation than they are prepared or able to reveal right at this moment.

When something does not add up, you need to choose the right moment to confront the person in question to find out what is going on. Your intuition, that feeling inside of you, will let you know if something is not right, and this is one of the times you need to pay attention to your instincts.
