There are a lot of shows out there based around the reality of Psychics and Mediums. Some of the shows are totally addictive, some are totally FAKE, I think we should discuss.
I LOVE the shows like Psychic Detectives, The psychics are really amazing I love to hear how and what they do to help uncover evidence. Psychic Detectives is on CourtTV, their new series Haunting Evidence is pretty much the same thing, accept they actually follow the psychics around and film them while they are helping the police. (Psy Detect is re-enacted) I think Haunting Evidence is a good show but somthing about it seems fishy and it does seem to be a little scripted at times, like most reality tv so it does make me wonder about their psychics. Just the other day my friend sent me a video on Youtube of some Raw footage from that show Most Haunted, where the mediums explore "haunted" houses and it totally outted those people as fakes. You can see them laughing at eachother while in trance, also you see the production people throwing books or somthing in the raw footage. I wanted to post the video for you guys but I cant find it now. There are plenty more reality TV shows about Psychics, so feel free to discuss those too. |

One was quite good...it had me convinced, but the one about the haunted old gaol was less convincing. It is a shame that these 'fake' types of programmes give the general public a warped view of the psychic world. I don't care to watch those shows because I feel it causes a negative image of the psychic community. And do we really need more negative light? If I was a ghost I'd peg that one noisy blonde girl.

IF i ever got around to moving my tv to the other aerial socket (haven't watched tv since the aerial lead broke in march........ great commonwealth games btw).... i'd watch them... as when it's 'real' i get goosebumps... and other than that... it's great comical entertainment
 p.s............... scion... could you do a favour for an oldie like me and enlarge your font please... squinting causes wrinkles

I watched that show shes in like twice and was horrified that this is what they are conveying psychics and mediums as. The episode I saw, she kept asking a ghost to communicate like 15 times and then she got hit with something or other...I think one of the technicians was getting annoyed. One of these days...she is just screaming "please Mr. ghost I am making horribly annoyed, drop that two by four on my head!" I do like Psychic Detectives though...although I am not sure if post cognitive is a gift I would want personally. |

Yeah she does tend to get beat up on by the guys behind the scenes, on that uncut fottage I saw she was acting like a total jerk, she made the whole Idea seem like a joke. when she finally does run into a ghost I cant wait to hear her story change.
