Heh actually I have no idea what a cancer is about, I'm just a cancer by birth (obviously).
I can tell you what I like: honesty. Blunt honesty. No games, or beating around the bush, that's a waste of time to me, and hugely turns me off.

wow the only cancer guy I know is my dad...but he can be very hard to approach...um...my suggestion
say hello and start out subtle...don't get a cancer to go WTF is with her...but also be honest

At least our signs are compatible. If I had to deal with a Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius it'd be very hard--those are signs I do not get along
with.

Approching a cancer of any gender can be hard. We change our moods like the tides of the water. The Moon also has a huge influence upon us. Which changes day to day. You want to be careful. Watch the tounge, not every Cancer can or is willing to take ANY KIND of harsh criticism, even if it is for their benifit.

I don't want to say you need to walk on egg shells, but take notice to the Moon phases LOL That is how my husband has been doing things with me for years now. LOL Depending on the phase, he will be more outspoken or more introverted.

Also be open to have a bit of a narrow minded mind set from them towards ANTHING they think is what they want or need.

As far as what they want to hear. They want you to think and say they are the greatest things ever created in this world. They love to hear their name spoken softly, as well as being given any and all compliments on anything they do. We Cancer's are saps for love and affection of ANY KIND. Wether it is the simplest you look/smell great today. Or a better. Was just thinking about you and thought I would call to see how you are.

They also must be the center of attention or will get real pissy about it.

I'm a Sun Cancerian and am laughing my head off!!! lol I relate a lot to what you are saying here!

Wow. I didn't know what the traits of a cancer were...but wow that sounds a lot like me....I mean maybe a bit more bluntly than I act, but still. Like I am such a sap for any kind of affection at all, if anyone goes out of their way to compliment me, they get big bonus points. But it has to be genuine of course, it's really obvious if they didn't mean it and therefore they were best off not saying it.

And yeah about being the center of attention that's true in a wierd way for me. Like I won't go out of my way and make a scene to get attention but I do like to be paid attention to. Geeze especially when my love pays attention to his friends over me, I get jealous for no reason at all! It's very irrational but I can't help it.

And that thing about the moon phases I hadn't even realized but it is very true! When it's a full moon I really want to go out and be social! When it's a new moon I just want to be alone with my own thoughts. It's wierd I hadn't realized that before!

is exhausted and I was just so in awe being able to talk to him that it was unexpected. I actually said it twice, that "I can't
believe I'm talking to you."

I was just nervous. I hope he doesn't hold that against me.

I doubt it...but I'm always a nervous Nellie over stuff
like this.

My husband is Cancer and we've been together for 15 years.

He wuvs his Mommy....

Cannot stand to be alone in the house.

Loves to be cuddled and made a complete fuss over.

Can be considered "Metro." ie. spends waayyy to much time in the personal care section in the supermarket, pharmacy, etc. and has a fascination with moisturizers.

Incredible with his daughters! First-class Daddy!

Very, very romantic.

Very generous: will spend on others before himself.

Can be jealous.

When he gets angered the best way to deal with him is by using humor...changes his mood in a minute.

It's been difficult...but I've come to the realization that me and this Cancer
man--aren't going to have that much of a friendship (let alone any romance),
just due to specific things going on in each of our lives.

My psychic said something was going to happen this summer, and
I was going to be invited somewhere. However, I'm broke and
cannot travel. "Peter" is nowhere near me--so I don't see how
we're going to be able to connect. But, you never know what's
going to happen in the future.
