Well,

I guess that was a stupid question I asked. Hopw all of you have a good FUll moon this CHristmas Eve and a Merry Christmas. unsure.gif

well, transiting uranus was falling right on your retrograde mars in your first house leaving you feeling a bit shook up and out of sorts. this also opposes your natal jupiter making it overextended. it will be there for a few months so you might feel confused about how you are expressing yourself during this time.

and the transiting mars moon conjunction in cancer is in your fifth house which represents creativity and fun, so you might have felt a bit drained from the tension in there. but by today the moon already moved into leo so that energy should be released but its coming up to your natal uranus which will put you in a spontaneous mood in 6th house so probably at work you will feel a bit better =P

just two little things, out of curiosity really, back in the 1950's did Florida use daylight savings? also in Australia our dating system would put your month of birth in June but it could also be October. kinda depends on what your used to.

Thank you so much for your response and insight. I will ask my older sister but as far as I can remember I have never heard of not having Daylight savings time. THere must be a way I can look it up on the internet as well.

Well, again thank you and you probably understand me a little more now, by knowing my chart. Sometimes I wish I didn't ponder or seek and quest so much, I do believe ignorance can be bliss. What about you?

Are you blessed "LOL" with virgo and scorpio and pluto stuff in lovely challenging areas?????

Thank you again,

Vivian

Random fact:

According to the movie "National Treasure," daylight savings time wasn't inforced until after a certain war. But I can't remember which one it was, and I won't guess and look silly afterwards. smile.gif

Anyway.. Thats my two cents. biggrin.gif

sorrowfulmind there is nothing wrong with getting things wrong.
it can even be comical if in being wrong you've proven the fiction within a movie.

"the American law by which we turn our clock forward in the spring and back in the fall is known as the Uniform Time Act of 1966. The law does not require that anyone observe Daylight Saving Time; all the law says is that if we are going to observe Daylight Saving Time, it must be done uniformly."

"In 1918, in order to conserve resources for the war effort, the U.S. Congress placed the country on Daylight Saving Time for the remainder of WW I. It was observed for seven months in 1918 and 1919. The law, however, proved so unpopular that it was later repealed."

"When America went to war again, Congress reinstated Daylight Saving Time on February 9, 1942. Time in the U.S. was advanced one hour to save energy. It remained advanced one hour forward year-round until September 30, 1945."

"By 1966, some 100 million Americans were observing Daylight Saving Time through their own local laws and customs. Congress decided to step in end the confusion and establish one pattern across the country. The Uniform Time Act of 1966 (15 U.S. Code Section 260a) created Daylight Saving Time to begin on the last Sunday of April and to end on the last Sunday of October. Any area that wanted to be exempt from Daylight Saving Time could do so by passing a local ordinance. The law was amended in 1986 to begin Daylight Saving Time on the first Sunday in April."

what a pain in the neck looking that up, so there you go the movie was right it had a lot to do with the war, unfortunately i couldn't see a lot between the years 45-66 and that creates a grey zone.

England officially adopted them in 1925. The original idea came from Benjamin Franklin.

This site has the whole history.
