I was thinking about how there are personalities which correspond with particular planets or signs. For example, Mars is fiery. I don't study astrology but this is a general assumption since Mars works with fire, doesn't it? My question is how does Earth effect the other planets? The way the planets and stars correspond with earth are a kind of correspondence with the human life of a spirit, but how does Earth correspond with the other planets, if it does at all?

What does Earth signify? And how does its energy change with humanity? Do the other planets and stars change their energy too? For instance, would Mars one day change as a planet, and become more like... Venus or something? And then the whole birthing sequence would be different... or at least, somebody who would have been born in one certain time of year would be born in another, right? Or if a star sign changed, humanity would have evolved? Does the state of humanity change the other planets or does the state of the other planets change Earth? Why do they change, if that is the case. I have so many questions.

EDIT: I just had a thought; what if certain spirits are made from the energy of different planets? Where do the star signs/planets get this energy? What is it about those massive balls of gas which makes them so special? ... Going on a tangent from that, how is gravity created? Hm, I might do better Google-ing this. Sure, it's a useful thing, gravity, but aren't black holes made of the same thing? :S Ehhh, I need to do some research on that, I think... I guess spheres are just convenient shapes for planets... What's in the gravity though? Maybe this should be a different topic. . . Whatever! So, I'm curious about all this. tongue.gif

Wow you had me think of another question! How would astrology work if we colonized another planet like Mars? Interesting indeed.

Generally no one really "gets" gravity, we know how strong it is and how it works, but not really why it is there. Maybe you can find some info on that through the internet, but I'll just talked about what I learned in physics. One theory on gravity is that it is the summation of very weak electrical (or magnetic) pulls between the nucleus of one atom and electrons of another. Much like magnetic fields, gravity works instantly (if you teleported a huge object into our solar system we would instantly feel the gravity, before any light or other information from the object reached us) and like magnetic fields gravity loses power over distance but its effect never fully disappears. That is just one idea but there are sure to be many others.

Yeah, that's how it works on an atomic level, but... what... does it have an energetic purpose, aside from keeping things staying up a certain way? Nngh.

Yeah! Exactly!

Does anybody have thoughts regarding this? I'm interested to know.

I know this topic is kinda old,but I've been studying atsrology for over 3 years and I remember reading somewhere that Earth is present in our charts through the ascendant...I can't remember what else it said so i can't elaborate on this thought,sorry...
Dot
I'm not entirely sure what you mean "through the ascendant". Do you think you could explain this more?

Thanks for replying to the thread, by the way. Not many people have!

I've seen answers to some of your questions before through astrology readings. You should look into researching astrology in India. You could probably find it by using google and searching around the sites.

Just noticed there's some information on the ascendant there too. :)

I don't know much about it besides that, but I do know India has many, many different methods for obtaining readings, including machines that predict entire lifetimes by the way the planets are aligned. You'd have to research Hinduism, most likely.

From what i can recall, the Earth is simbolised by the ascendant in our charts because the ascendant signifies the point where something crosses the earth...sorry but I can really remember... unsure.gif But if you think about it,the Ascendant is the point that shows how you present yoursef to others...actually,so does the MC,as acting as a "super ascendant"..so,even putting the technical details aside,it makes sense.

I really wish I could help you out a bit more but I am quite far away from the technical details of astrology...I know it's a shame,I've been studying this for over three years and yet I never cared to look into the technical side of it,but well...
