Hi everyone,

As I continue to study Astrology, I find myself facinated with the concept of what the South Node tells about what is brought into this lifetime and how this information can be used in the comparison of two charts.

I notice that my girlfriend and I both have Saturn in retrograde conjunct our individual South Nodes and wonder if this could point to some sort of past life correlation or if this is just a similarity?

I also find it interesting that my South Node falls in Cancer as does my Midheaven making me think that I bring a natural talent into this life to help me along in my calling in this life...whatever that might be

Could someone please help me better understand what (if any) past life connection may be here in me and my girlfriend's charts and more importantly, HOW this information is derived so that I can know what types of things to look at when I begin deliniating charts myself? What other parts of the chart can be looked at to derive past life information?
