Singles: Many of you are in ‘nesting mode’ the first half of 2012, with Jupiter spending his last six months in your domestic zone. January 23 your New Moon brings with it your new solar year. Dream big. Venus transiting your sign through mid-January attracts moths to your flame. A former lover could pop up over the holidays with promises to be ‘good this time’. Think carefully and remind yourself why you split. Your love/lust life kicks into high gear June 11 when Jupiter steams up your romance zone. You want ‘real love’, and you’ll find it with a Gemini or Sagittarius in August with a New Moon in Leo (another option) August 17. October - December are good months for you to date and mix it up until you settle down with the best in his field.
Couples: The desire to spend more time at home, making a den for you and your love and hosting dinner parties is strong for the majority of you through mid-2012. April is an especially cozy month, with Venus moving into Gemini, your self-fulfillment zone. Fun, friendship and people are all featured in 2012. Spending time with other couples and joining social groups (tennis club, book club etc) enhances your relationship with your other half, especially June 11 onwards with Jupiter the planet of expansion broadening your horizons in your romance and self-fulfillment zone. If you haven’t fully committed to your partnership (still have your eye out for the bigger, better deal), crunch time arrives November 28, under a lunar eclipse in your romance zone. He could pop the question, baby/marriage talk could come up. Those of you who are not in it for the long haul need to have an exit strategy lined up.
Career:
Your career is set to take on a whole new life in 2012, especially from October 5 onwards, with Saturn, the planet of discipline and structure settling into your career and ambitions zone. Saturn is also the planet of time and in your tenth house through September 2015, some of you will do a complete career change, start your own business, transfer overseas or work part time and go back to school. The May 5 Full Moon in your career zone could trigger exciting developments and a promotion is possible. Head hunters come knocking around the same time, so have your C.V. updated and make sure you are interview ready. Pleasing your boss may seem like unnecessary ‘crawling’ to you, but it has to be done in July. Late August you’ll be happy you did suck it up. Your career gets a strong push from the November 13 solar eclipse that can put you into the spotlight well into 2013.
Money:
Your cash flow situation is highlighted in February with a New Moon on the 21st. While this cosmic energy could bring with it a raise, there will be a delay before it goes into effect. Shop around for new household appliances and set a budget through the remainder of 2012, as you will be in the mood to splurge! May is your money month - a time when you could see a boost in your coffers or your partner’s coffers. A New Moon September 15 also has the potential to add some money to your pocket while October is the month to take a chance on the lottery and look where you walk. A lucky find could be yours.
Travel:
While you normally prefer travelling solo, 2012 is the year when a guided group tour is more your thing. Plus you won’t be alone for long! Or you and a bunch of girlfriends will rent a house (in Tuscany perhaps?) and spend a month or two living like locals somewhere exotic. Couples most romantic holiday times are in April and July, while November is a great time to take a few couples with you to your favourite Bali or Fiji hideouts. Shop around for the best travel deals and rather than three star, treat yourself to four or more!
