When I was working in a nursing home, we had an old Italian resident, who was famous in her village for being able to determine the gender of a pregnant woman’s unborn child.
Maria was gracious enough to share her secret with me, knowing my interest in this subject and I am now happy to share her technique with you!
The lady who is expecting sits down in a comfortable chair, and begins to relax. Once she is calm, Maria used to ask for two things, the lady's wedding band or ring given to the woman from the baby's father, then after asking, would remove one strand of hair from the lady's head.
The hair was threaded through the ring and then hair strand was held at each end. The ring was then centred into the middle of the hair strand and then placed on the abdomen of the pregnant woman.
"Might be worth a try...and it is cheaper than ultrasound."
Maria kept her hand very steady as she began to raise the hair and ring off the client’s abdomen until the ring was about 8 inches away from the woman’s belly.
After a period of time, the ring started to sway of its own accord. The movement of the ring was noted. If it spun in a circular movement, then the lady would have a daughter. If the ring swayed from side to side it was to be a son.
Other people try similar methods but Maria's technique is slightly different from any other form I have seen done. Maria boasted she was 100% accurate and from readings she did in my presence, this did seem true.
Might be worth a try...this technique was always done by only one person per generation in Maria's village, and it is cheaper than ultrasound.
Till next time, love light and Blessings, Anny
