This (used to be) planet takes about 248 years to orbit the Sun and is only 2/3rds the size of our Moon—but it certainly packs a punch! Pluto changes signs from Sagittarius into Capricorn this year. (I still refer to Pluto as a planet—old habits die hard!)
It is associated with the zodiac sign of Scorpio and shares similar traits: intense emotions, transformation, taboo, occult, sexuality, trust, and change (to name a few!).
Even if you do not have your Sun in Scorpio, everyone has Scorpio (and Pluto) somewhere in their birth chart and this means that this once in a lifetime change in energies will be felt by you.
As with every energy, there are two sides to this Plutonian one.
One is the side where Pluto asks us to cooperate with others for the benefit of all; to look inwards to see what’s there, and generally trying to make the world a better place.
The other side is one where intense emotions can lead to obsessions, and the need for change may be experienced as destructive.
