One of the things people often say to me is why is it they sometimes have real alertness of their minds and other times they feel clouded. I believe what happens is we get so busy in our lives that we can start to get clouded in our thinking and lose concentration. Let's think about that, after all we wear so many different hats dont we? We have families to look after, as well as looking after ourselves, some of us work and were trying to stay healthy as well and at some time or another through out the day there are others or maybe many, who want a piece of our time. And when we are in these chaotic times then it is very difficult for us to gain the focus and clarity we need to make effective decisions for ourselves and for those who are close to us.

The most powerful way I have found to gain and keep focus and clarity and certainty of mind is to practice a form of meditation or relaxation. Meditation is fantastic but not every one has the time in their lives to do a 20 to 30 min formal meditation. However if you just take a few minutes and practice regularly it will become an extremely powerful tool for mind control. Meditation is for anyone who desires to gain greater mind control and have more focus and clarity with certainty in all areas of their lives.
You need to be comfortable in a chair with your feet touching the floor. It is not a good idea to lie down because as you are going through the relaxation process it is easy to fall asleep and lose the benefits of the exercise. Also make sure you are in a private space, somewhere you want be disturbed. Somewhere you feel comfortable and secure. Create a personal space that you can go to on a daily basis. Also it is a good idea to meditate at the same time each day, early in the morning is a good time and it is a great process to start the day if you can manage it.
Meditation can be as long or as short as you want to make it. You can even do it in 2 minutes if need be and as you become more skilled you can meditate with your eyes open This would be to your advantage if you are in a meeting or somewhere not suitable to closing your eyes and you want to gain some inspirational thoughts or further focus and clarity. With practice the benefits of meditative relaxation becomes easier and more intense allowing you to have greater control and more certainty youre your emotions and daily decisions.
