Welcome to the Personal Space mediation where you will create your own sacred location that you can go to at any time. This is a powerful process for you to become centered, more in control, and in touch with your inner self to gain true inspiration.
Step One: BreatheSit comfortably, close your eyes, and breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Now imagine when you breathe in through your nose that you are breathing in from the bottom of your feet and up to the crown of your head. Then when you breathe out through your mouth imagine that your breath is going out from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. With the next breath, imagine that your circular breath has an aluminous bright light all around you in the shape of a large egg. Continue this circular breathing in through your nostrils, and with each breath the light around your body is growing brighter and brighter.
Step Two: Noise controlFirstly, lets concentrate on the external outer noise. Bring your attention close to you so you only hear the immediate sounds around you, like the ticking of your watch, machinery sounds, or creaks in the walls. Stay with this noise for 15 seconds. Now take your attention to the noise outside, noises like traffic, people speaking, or tress rustling. Stay here for 15 seconds. Now switch your attention back to the sounds close to you and then to the far away sounds. Do this a few times till you can differentiate between the two. Next, bring our attention to your inner noise, the endless brain chatter. Imagine your thoughts are coming in through the left hand side of your mind and floating through and out the right hand side. If you have any persistent thoughts then ask these thoughts to be filed at the back of your mind and come back at a more appropriate time.
Step Three: RelaxContinue with your circular breathing and consciously relax your facial muscles. Tell your brow to relax, relax, relax, then your eyes, relax, now relax the muscles around your mouth, relax, relax, relax. Now let your shoulders drop, relax, relax and feel all the stress of the day, week and month release from your shoulders.
Step Four: Attitude of GratitudeStill doing your circular breathing, think of a time when you had much love in your life. A time when you felt happy and relaxed, a time of great joy and peace. It could be recent or years in the past. Hold onto that feeling, remember how good it felt, imagine you are there now and intensify the feeling. Think about being grateful for that time on your life.
Step Five: Connect with your Inner SelfKeeping your eyes shut, lift your eyes upwards and connect with your inner self. Talk to your inner self and ask for a message. Ask a question; ask for an answer of something that you want some guidance on. Your guidance may come in various forms. It may be a word, a sound, a vision or perhaps a colour. Or it may just be a feeling of knowing or a feeling of confirmation. What ever it is, know it is for you only. When you have your message, thank your inner intuitive self for being with you today and always.
Step Six: Connecting with those close to youNow we will continue on our guided journey to your sacred space. Imagine you are outside and it is a glorious sunny day and you are walking along a windy yellow road. There are rolling green hills all around you and behind you and the sky is crystal clear blue. The air as you breath it in is fresh and invigorating. You are feeling good and at peace with yourself and your life. As you walk along the path you are smiling and with each step you are feeling lighter and lighter.
In the distance you see a door and as you approach the door it becomes clearer and clearer. Now you are at the door, take note of what it looks like, is it a country style door, what colour is it, is it ornate with gold on it, maybe its a business door. There is one step at the door and as you walk onto the step the door automatically opens and you walk inside. There are pictures on the wall of people and as you look at them you feel that they sort of look familiar. You are feeling very peaceful and happy.
Now you see another door, take note of what the door looks like and there are 2 steps at this door and again once you approach it the door automatically opens for you. As you walk inside you see the pictures on the wall again and now as you look closer at them you realise they are people you know, they are the people who are closest to you, the people you love and those who love and support you. You feel safe here with them and feel an overriding feeling of love and joy. Look at the pictures and take this opportunity to say anything you would like to say to each of them.
You now see another door and you walk up 3 steps and through the door.
Step Seven: Creating your sacred personal spaceAs you walk out the 3rd door you find yourself in such beautiful surroundings its breathtaking. Take note of what the surroundings are like. You now move forward to your personal sacred space. This is your space to create any way you want to. Visualize it in every minuet detail. What colour is it, what shape is it. Where is it? Are you in a rain forest, by the water, in the hills? What are the textures?, Are you in a plush setting or one of nature?
This is your very own personal sacred space; you can come here any time you want. As you settle into your personal space you are feeling much joy and peace. You are feeling extremely light and have a sensation of floating. You are smiling and feeling very loved. You are worthy of love and this is how you feel at the moment. You are a unique and perfect human being just the way you are and are very much loved. Stay in this space for a while knowing it is your personal space and you can come back here any time you want to
When you are ready thank your inner self for finding and creating your personal space and giving you this time to spend along with your inner self.
Then start to come back to the current time knowing that you can come back here to this space of love, joy and peace at any time even if just for a few moments. Start to move your fingers, your hands and your feet, gently open your eyes and slowly become aware of your conscious surroundings again.
As you become more awake and conscious you are feeling relaxed and alert with clarity and certainty. Take a minute to write down any notes or inspirations you received during the meditation.
