Now, being a querent requires responsibilities too. I believe it’s important for you to understand that when you phone for a reading that you should observe some very reliable tools for a good reading. After all, you are paying for this reading and want to get the most out of it.
• Make quite sure that you will have no interruptions.
• Find a quiet area and turn off the radio, stereo and TV.
• If you have small children, use their nap times to have a conversation with your reader.
• Don’t do the dishes or vacuum the carpet while you are having a reading. Settle down with a warm drink and make sure that you are quite relaxed.
• Light a candle and some incense and concentrate on the flame and aroma to soothe your senses.
• Take a few deep breaths and focus on the questions you want answered, write them down if necessary.
• Keep an open mind and open heart and listen carefully to what your reader has to tell you. Don’t jump to conclusions and think suspiciously if you feel you’re having a bad reading. Could it be you? Are you blocking your forces and emotions so there is no flow of energies from you to the reader?
• Ask questions and listen carefully to the answers. Write down the answers that apply to you. You will be amazed when you read back your notes. A reading can be a difficult thing to take in, and so much is said that one can forget so quickly.
• Don’t phone up with the attitude that says - ‘you’re the psychic, you tell me’. Psychics are not mind readers per se – we all know that’s a ‘side show fortune teller’ trick – and we need to ask some questions to bring your questions and answers into perspective.
• Always keep a pad and pen by your side to take down notes and get the name and pin number of your reader.
• Finally, enjoy your reading. Think about what was conveyed to you and you will be surprised how much clearer you will see your world around you.
