Your husband does still love you but he is under a lot of pressure at the moment and has become too wound up in his work. The reason for his distance is because I feel he thinks that you should try to be more involved in what he does. I would try and talk to him more and become involved in helping him with his problems. At the moment he believes that he is all alone with his work issues and needs support but doesn’t want to ask you for it. You should insist he tell you about his work and he will begin to open up and see you as a greater part of his life, which of course you are.

When you ask him how his day is and he says "fine," try asking a few additional questions like "what did you do?" He should open up and tell you about his day. Then ask him specific questions and know what is happening that way each day you will become closer as he feels you are more apart of what he is doing.

You need to make sure you involve each other in your lives and always talk. This way things will not fester and cause you to grow apart. Talking has always been a major part of any relationship and always will be.

I also see he has had some sadness in his life and he feels that he is also alone with this. It was a relative which you would know about. Talk to him about this as well he will open up if you persist. You must you must always talk to your partner about everything for your relationship to be happy..
