There are definite body language signs, which say you are available, so if you are looking for love, you will want to make sure that you are giving off, ’I’m available signs’! People have a presence about them, which can give you a hint as to how they are thinking and how open or closed they are.

I’m Available Signs.

Your body language will show someone if you are interested in him or her. These are powerful signs.

Watch how you sit.

Make sure you’re facing or better still half facing the person who has your attention so you have to half turn your body towards him or her to communicate. It shows that you’re making an effort to get closer. For girls, crossing your legs can be alluring. For men and women, when you seductively lean forward slightly, not slumped forward and not straight up like a sergeant major, but an obviously move, it can say, I’d like to know more.

Be aware of how you stand.

If you are standing, then stand straight so your posture doesn’t slump. With your feet, crossing them over will give them a relaxed look, or stand with them together, whatever makes you feel more comfortable.

What to do with your hands.

If you are prone to nervousness, it is best to find something to do with your hands, like play with your PDA, write something down, search in your bag or wallet for something or read a magazine or brochure. Be careful of putting your hands on your hip, unless of course, you want to portray a supper confident, I’m in control look, then go right ahead. Hands can look great or they can look very awkward, so make sure you know what to do with them.

Be prepared.

If you are serious about attracting the love of your life, you will want to do a little preplanning. Always have a pen on hand, if you don’t have a business card, you will want a pen to write down either your number of someone else’s particulars.

Check out where people who have the same interests go.

Do your homework, what’s new, what’s hot and what’s not, find out where to go and get yourself over there.

Conversation Tips.

Get ready with some general knowledge topics so you can contribute and initiate conversations. Read the paper, watch the news, research on the computer, make sure you have something current and interesting to say.

Do you know whom you want to meet?

Have you made a love list of must have qualities, and areas or qualities you can compromise on? It’s a quick exercise, and it will help you clarify the type of person you are looking to attract. You don’t want to repeat past love lessons.

Eye Contact.

Don’t forget to make eye contact, it is impossible to connect with anyone without looking them in the eye. If this is something that is uncomfortable for you to do, then start practicing by looking everyone and anyone in the eye just to get used to it.
