A traditional tarot deck with 78 cards in total, the Rider-Waite
Tarot is deck one of the most well known and used tarot card decks
available.
It was developed in 1909 by Arthur Edward Waite, and illustrated
by Pamela Coleman Smith.
It is credited as being the first deck to illustrate all 78
cards in the deck, not just the Major Arcana cards. Because
of this, many beginners find this deck favourable as the pictures
aide in interpreting the cards.
