According to Burke, every year the participation and food donations grow. “We’re hoping it will continue to grow in years to come. We’re just starting to get the ball rolling,” she says.
Last year, more than 160 pounds of food was raised for the Clayton Food Pantry. This year, as of Sunday afternoon, almost 200 pounds have been collected. The food donations for this year’s event will be turned over to a Watertown food pantry.
Activities for the fair include Reiki massages, tarot card readings, palm readings, shamanic readings and stone readings. There were also many handmade jewelry, books, oils, incense and other new age products for sale. Sunday’s keynote speaker was Laura Vannah. She held a workshop entitled “Personal Growth Through the Art of Acting”
The fair was held on April 24 and 25th, from 11am to 8:30pm on Saturday and until 7:30pm on Saturday.
