The members of his church were made to help run his business empire that included a truck business, restaurant, a designer clothing line, and a hog farm. Since the 1960’s, Alamo already received allegations that he abused his members including sexually molesting girls.

Some of the members who have won cases against Alamo were awarded millions. However, private investigators and the government say that he has kept some assets under his name which makes it difficult for them to collect.

Alamo was also sentenced for making girls as young as 8 years old become his spiritual wives. He was ordered to pay these girls a restitution of $500,000 each by US District Judge Harry F. Barnes of Texarkana, Ark.

The five women have filed another civil case against the cult leader and are seeking additional damages.

He is now being incarcerated at a federal prison in Indiana after he lost his appeal for his criminal conviction.

Alamo also sent a letter to US President Barack Obama to give him pardon as he has a secret plan to bring peace to the Middle East.

Alamo has been preaching about polygamy to his members several years back. He even said that girls are already allowed to marry as soon as they reached their puberty. Furthermore, Alamo also inflicted corporal punishment to his members as part of disciplining them. However, he always said that his views were based on the teachings of the bible.
